Surface-mounted sockets
Surface-mounted sockets
The surface-mounted socket is mounted raised on a wall. It does not disappear into the masonry, but rather represents a stylistically defining room component. In addition to this peculiarity, the surface-mounted socket of course also has a practical use - it supplies electricity. The surface-mounted socket is particularly popular in household or catering kitchens. It allows multiple uses at the same time. Advantages of surface-mounted sockets with USB
Commercially available devices such as televisions, game consoles, radios or alarm clocks come with conventional plugs. However, there are now many mobile devices on the market that can be charged “normally” using an adapter, but usually have a USB port. Smartphones (cell phones), MP3 players or even tablets can be supplied with power and charged using surface-mounted sockets with USB ports without the need for complicated adapters. To ensure safety even with surface-mounted sockets with USB ports, they are also available with a (fuse) switch and a cover.
2-way or 3-way surface-mounted sockets
Surface-mounted sockets are available in different sizes. This means that there are also differences in the number of slots. As a customer, you can choose between 2-way and 3-way surface-mounted sockets. Paradoxically, 3-way surface-mounted plugs fit more into small kitchens, and 2-way surface-mounted sockets fit more into larger kitchens. The reason for this is that in small kitchens there is usually less space for additional sockets. In larger kitchens, the appliances can be distributed more easily. This means you have different slots.
Space-saving corner sockets
There are two other variants of surface-mounted sockets – the corner socket and the power strip. Like the surface-mounted sockets mentioned above, these two can also be supplied with (safety) switches and a cover. Here you can, for example, choose between different optical design variations.
You can conveniently pay for your selected surface-mounted sockets via Amazon Pay, PayPal (buyer protection), credit card or, for example, by invoice.
